It would’ve been great if there’s a mini-charcoal-grill that would cater to only a few people and is sitting high above the ground. This is where the Char-Griller Patio Pro Charcoal Grill is applicable. This baby is a mini-charcoal-grill that is specifically used for light-cooking and is sitting high above the ground.

Upon opening the box, all the pieces for the grill can be seen positioned neatly. Every piece was applied with oil to keep everything in perfect condition. The Char-Griller has a lot of parts so assembly is not as straightforward as one would think. Additionally, the instruction manual included with the grill is not useful as it doesn’t show every piece in the assembly and isn’t as accurate as it should be. Fortunately though, assembly is the only bad experience with this grill. The grate is made out of cast-iron and the manufacturer requires it to be initially coated with vegetable oil and heated to 300degrees for 2hours to burn off all factory oil. Filling the grill to the rim with charcoal and leaving it to burn will also do the trick. When using the grill, the fire can be easily controlled with the air ventilation system for an even distribution of the heat. The cast-iron grate easily gets hot so lesser charcoal is needed and cooking time is faster. Moreover, the Char-Grill has a wooden tray that can support heavy things. Hooks that can be screwed on the Char-Grill are included to hang cooking tools for easier storage. For clean-up, the charcoal tray box easily slides out so ashes can be easily disposed.

Overall, the Char-Grill Patio Pro Charcoal Grill is an excellent product and the long stand doesn’t wobble. As an added feature, two of the four stands have wheels for better mobility.
